Ruqaya is a long cape in black, with a round neckline and openings for the arms.

Gold sarma embroidery spreads across the shoulders and the upper back, worked by hand in gold thread with turquoise, and beaded with turquoise and red stones, beads and crystal. Inside, the lining is red, and shows at the front opening.

It falls to the floor and turns a plain dress into an entrance. A cape for an Eid evening, a Ramadan ghabga or a wedding.
